The 5th West Asian Symposium on Optical and Millimeter-Wave Wireless Communications (WASOWC 2024) will be hosted at the Isik University, Turkiye. WASOWC 2024 will be held on 24-26 April 2024 at Maslak Campus in the heart of Istanbul, Turkiye. Istanbul is a unique city in terms of geography, history, and culture: It bridges Europe and Asia, as well as East and West. It was the capital of three successive empires – Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman, and it still carries their fabulous legacy, while heading towards a modern future.
WASOWC 2024 brings together researchers from academia and industry to discuss and share new research and developments in the field of optical & millimeter-wave wireless technologies within the context of the 5th and 6th generation and beyond wireless networks. As in the previous events, the 5th Symposium will also include workshops/tutorials, keynote/invited speakers, as well as oral presentation. If you wish to organise workshops/tutorials, please contact us and we would be very happy to assist.
All accepted and presented papers will be published in the IEEE Xplore.
All papers must be submitted in the final format to be publishable in the conference proceedings and IEEE Xplore®. The papers must not exceed 5 pages (A4 size) with all illustrations and references included. The size of the PDF file submitted should not exceed 2 MB. Additional pages and/or storage requirements will be subject to extra charges.
Papers submitted for review must clearly state: the purpose of the work, how and to what extent it advances the state-of-the-art, and specific results and their impact. The degree to which the paper deals with these issues is fundamental to a successful review and selection of the paper. The most frequent cause of rejections of submitted papers is a lack of new results. Only work that has not been previously published at the time of the conference will be considered. Duplicated submissions to concurrent conferences must be avoided. All papers must conform to IEEE Formatting Guidelines. Please see the IEEE conference templates page for paper specifications.
